An Achiever

Alia-Jehan Gecobe Peera, recently graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with BS in Policy Planning w/honors, and BS in International Relations .
She was on a $100K Scholarship at the University which enabled her to spend a semester at the University of Madrid last year and was the -winner of the Tucson Citizen’s Top High School Student Achievement Award in 2000. Her other achievements include internship with Congressman McNulty of NY, in DC; working with indigent communities in Argentina and Paraguay; spearheading a fundraiser at the university to collect $60k for sexually battered women; and working for ‘summit college’ to recruit inner city kids for higher education.
She will be working with the Dept. of Justice in Washington DC starting in August for a year before pursuing a career in Law.
