Questions and concerns should be directed to RisingLeaders@gmail.com Congressional Internship Stipends During the Spring of 2005, Rising Leaders will be offering stipends of $1,000 per month to individuals who will be completing full-time internships on Capitol Hill. Individuals are responsible for finding and securing their own internship.

Rising Leaders Is Hiring: Program Director Rising Leaders is hiring a Program Director to run its events and programs, and provide general support to the Board of Directors. The individual will also do substantial work that is relevant to the political scene in Washington, DC.
We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications: * Young Pakistani-American * SUPERIOR writing skills, (this is the single most important requirement) * Leadership abilities * Maturity, professional presentation, and ability to work independently * Serious interest in pursuing a career in US government and politics or relevant fields The position is full-time starting in January 2005 and will end no sooner than August of 2005. Applicants will be asked to come to Washington for an interview. Salary is $1500-$2000/month. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
