Shura Condemns Bari Imam
Carnage
Los Angeles: The Islamic Shura Council
of Southern California strongly condemns the senseless carnage
at Bari Imam shrine in Pakistan inflicted by Muslims upon
fellow Muslims.
Shura Council urges the leaders as well as the followers of
Islam in Pakistan to stop this madness and respect the teachings
of Islam and value life.
Shura Council demands the Government of Pakistan to immediately
apprehend the culprits stoking sectarian violence and hold
them accountable to the fullest extent of the law.
The Muslims of Southern California are advised to hold special
prayers for the victims and foster an environment of love,
mercy and compassion toward each other.
Shura Council expresses its deepest condolences to the survivors
of the victims of the Bari Imam carnage and prays that the
innocent be granted relief in the life hereafter.
