LA Community Raises $ 250,000

Seized of the pressing need to extend speedy relief to the quake victims, a group of prominent LA community members met at the Shahnawaz Restaurant in Norwalk on Sunday and collected $ 250,000 for the relief operations.
The group included COPAA President Hamid Malik and other COPPA stalwarts including former President Ahmed Ali, Arif Merchant, Dr Mansoor Shah, Dr Farhat Zubair, Tanwir Khan and Shaista Khan besides APPNA Southern California President Dr Ahsan Rasheed; DIL LA Chapter President Maryam Rashid; SAN President Hamid Khan; and Mr Farooq Vakil.
