Consul General Jadmani Hosts Farewell Reception

Mr. and Mrs. Noor Mohammad Jadmani hosted a reception at their Los Angeles residence on June 23 to bid goodbye to their many friends and admirers who had the privilege of knowing the couple during the Consul General’s memorable posting in LA.
The tenure of Mr. Jadmani was indisputably a memorable one: he earned a name for his unassuming and friendly disposition and enjoyed popularity among all segments of the community. He was an easily accessible diplomat and under his stewardship the Consulate staff appeared visibly more responsive and dutiful.
He unhesitatingly supported fellow Pakistanis’ strivings and the community, in turn, supported his laudable initiatives to boost Pakistan’s image and cause. His winsome smile and affable nature will be remembered for a long, long time to come.
The guests at the reception included members of the Pakistani-American community, city and county officials, and members of the diplomatic corps. Everyone appeared visibly sad and glum. The tributes to Mr. Jadmani were many and expressed with a rare degree of spontaneity. Pakistan Link joins the community in wishing the outgoing Consul General well. May God’s choicest blessings come his way – today and always.
