Dish Network Adds Two
Urdu Language Channels

and its DISH Network™ satellite television service
has added two Urdu language channels – Indus Vision
and Indus Music– to its international programming
lineup. With the addition of these two channels, DISH Network
now offers eight Urdu channels.
“We believe these top-rated, Urdu-language channels
provide our Urdu speaking customers with even more choice
and greatly enhance our existing Urdu offerings,”
said Tracy Thompson, vice president of International Programming
for DISH Network.
Indus Vision is one of the top-rated general entertainment
channels from Pakistan. Programming on the channel includes
dramas, sitcoms, entertainment and magazine shows, cooking
shows, awards, fashion programs, talk shows, television
films, and children’s programming.
Indus Music is Pakistan’s top-ranked music channel.
Indus Music has interactive VJ’s, celebrity interviews,
comic fillers, theme shows, live concerts and is the home
of the only Pakistani music industry awards, IM Awards.

Indus Vision and Indus Music are available as part of the
Pak Mega Pack for $39.99 per month. Customers who do not
subscribe to a qualifying basic programming package will
be charged a $6.00 per month Service Access Fee. An additional
dish antenna or single SuperDISH antenna is required to
receive basic and international programming.
DISH Network now offers 134 international channels from
25 countries in 28 languages, including Arabic, Chinese,
Farsi, Korean, Bangla and Kannada.
