NEDAASC Launched

The graduates of the NED University of Engineering and Technology living in the Greater Los Angeles area have launched NED Alumni Association of Southern California (NEDAASC). The purpose of the organization is to serve as a resource to the faculty and students of NED in the transfer of cutting edge advances in the field of Engineering and Technology. NEDAASC will provide financial aid to needy students and serve as a platform for its graduates to network and pursue technical, cultural and social activities and initiate ways to foster and encourage cooperation among its graduates.
At its inaugural meeting held in January 13, 2008, the following Board of Directors were elected:
Ahmed Ali, President; Syed Shariq Raza, Vice President; Moqueem Ansari, General Secretary; Mansoor Khan, Treasurer; Mujib Ahmed, Membership; Zaid Ahmad, Scholarship; and Farhat Siddiqui, Publication.
