COPAA Appeals to Community to Help Quake Victims

Expressing sympathies with the Balochistan quake victims, a COPAA Press Release inter alia states:

“… Based on the initial emergency assessment, the following immediate needs have been identified: Tents for 3,000 - 4,000 families, blankets for 2,500 families, winter clothing for 2,500 – 3,000 families and food and non-food items for 3,000-4,000 families. Medium to long term needs include reconstruction and rehabilitation of housing, water supply schemes and sanitation facilities.

COPAA expresses its deep sorrow over the loss of human lives and offers sympathy to the people affected by this tragedy. COPAA appeals to the Pakistani-American community to donate generously to reputable relief agencies during this hour of need as the children and the devastated families await for help.”
