Professor Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Chairman, Rooat-e-Halal Committee, Pakistan, was invited by the Live Oak Milad Committee in Yuba City, Woodland and Stockton to attend a Mehfil-e-Milad. He later addressed the gathering.
A large number of Muslims, aggregating well over several thousand, heard him with rapt attention as he exhorted them to forge unity and sink petty differences. He urged the gathering to spread the true message of Islam. “We need to teach more people as well as our youngsters about Islam and the meaning of Islam,” the learned scholar remarked.
“We can make the change happen” by practicing our religion and showing to the people that as a faith Islam stands out.
Since early morning, thousand of people had assembled in the mosques to hear the address of Mufti Sahib. He did not disappoint them and the large number of attendees were visibly happy to hear his views on important issues impacting their life. His message was very well received.
