Hamdard’s Sham-e-Ghazal

Hamdard Center for Health and Human Services organized an evening with famous Pakistani singer Tarranum Naz at the Holiday Inn Oak Brook. A large number of Pakistani and Indian Americans were present to pay tribute to the artist and show support to Hamdard. Tarranum Naz sang famous numbers of Madam Noor Jehan in addition to her own compositions. The audience was fully absorbed in the popular old songs and ghazals. Nostalgia was manifestly in the air.

Irfan Sufi conducted the program and educated the audience about the famous music directors who composed the music for the golden songs. Dr and Mrs. Hamid welcomed the guests.
