A press release received by Pakistan Link states: “MQM USA-Los Angeles Chapter is deeply grieved to learn about the sad demise of Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Bhai. He supported our local chapter when it was being incepted. Not only was he a dedicated supporter but also a very well liked figure in the community.

“May Allah have mercy on his benevolent soul and may he be blessed with Jannat-ul-Firdaus. May Allah grant the family patience, ease their hearts and bless them through these hard times. Ameen”
