Obituary

 

Professor Fareed Qureshi Sehar Akbarabadi died in Los Angeles. He was an active member of the Urdu Cultural Society and had played an active role in the promotion of Urdu language.

Besides Los Angeles, the late Professor Qureshi had promoted the cause of Urdu in the Gulf and had established several literary and cultural institutions.

His collection ‘Mutae Sehar’ had enjoyed popularity among the literati.
