Entrancing Second South Asian Wedding Expo

Industry Hills , CA : The Second South Asian Wedding Expo was a dazzling event drawing a host of vendors, hundreds of eager visitors and anxious brides-to-be who came to explore what the Expo had to offer. It was a beehive of activity at the Pacific Palms Resort on Jan 30. Starting from the lobby as visitors were greeted by the horse and carriage display, all 78 vendors went out of their way to set up colorful booths creating the festive ambience of a South Asian wedding.

The range of vendors added their bit to making the event a one-stop for brides to be. From decorators, florists, event planners, fashion, jewelry, henna, makeup, DJS, lighting, photographers, and restaurants, the vendors showcased their products and services effectively and artistically.

The Wedding Expo team who also launched the maiden venture last year, consisted of Yogi Patel of Global Photography, Yogi Patel of Sheer Romance and Sandeep Sandhu of DamakaDJs.

Speaking on behalf of the team, Yogi Patel of Global Photography said the objective of the event was to help South Asian vendors and brides to come together and raise awareness of what was available in the market. The success of last year’s expo had prompted them to make it a regular annual feature which they hope to continue for many years to come.

The highlight of the day was the much anticipated fashion show by Frontier Heritage. CEO Ziba Beauty Sumita Batra who coordinated the show, welcomed the guests and introduced Frontier Heritage. The show was interspersed with eclectic, feet stomping music and dance performances by NDM Dance Company, Karmagraphy, Dhol Nation, Bhangra by UC Riverside duo and Indie Sax by Ramesh Maharaj.

The well-organized event was beneficial to all who attended and participated in it.
