General Jehandad Khan Dies

General (Retired) Jehandad Khan, Founding President of Al-Shifa Trust, died in Rawalpindi on Sunday. He was 81. He is survived by a son and daughter.

A former Governor of Sindh and President of Hilal e Ahmar, the retired General had founded state-of-the-art eye hospitals in Muzaffarabad, Rawalpindi, Kohat and Sukkur.

His death will be widely mourned. May his soul rest in peace. Ameen.
