Musharraf Visits Dallas

Dallas : Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf, who is currently in self-exile, has announced that he will finally return to Pakistan on March 23, 2012.

When asked if he is ready to face Pakistani courts and if he is worried about going to jail, Musharraf said that he was not scared of jails.

According to the News, the former president acknowledged there are two big cases against him - the Benazir Bhutto assassination case and the Akbar Bugti murder case.

Musharraf, who launched his own political party, the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), in October 2010, has claimed several times that he would return to lead the party and contest the next elections.

Earlier, in May, a Rawalpindi Anti-Terrorism Ccourt (ATC) had declared Musharraf a proclaimed offender in the Benazir Bhutto assassination case.
