Mr. Hasan Chishti, a distinguished literary figure, has been unanimously nominated to receive the Hyderabad Deccan Foundation of Canada Award (Literature) for the year 2011.

“Your outstanding and dedicated literary work in Urdu literature for a number of years calls for honor and recognition.  The Hyderabadi community is proud of your contribution and achievements.  We congratulate you on this nomination and for being an inspiration to all Hyderabadees,” says a message from Mr Bashir Beg, Chairman, Hyderabad Deccan Foundation of Canada.
