Major Event Honors Howard Berman in Capitol Monday Night

 

Encino, CA: On Monday evening virtually every major leading Democrat from across California will attend a fundraiser in Sacramento for Congressman Berman’s reelection campaign.

Governor Jerry Brown will headline the fundraiser and will be joined by LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, LA City Council President Herb Wesson, Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg, Speaker of the Assembly John Pérez, Treasurer Bill Lockyear, State Controller John Chiang, State Board of Equalization Member Betty Yee, Senator Alex Padilla, Congresswoman Karen Bass, state assembly leaders and former elected Democrats.

These leaders add to a growing list of Democrats supporting Congressman Berman in the primary race to fill California’s newly drawn 30th district. Top Democrats holding local, state, and federal offices are supporting Berman DESPITE RUNNING AGAINST AN EIGHT-TERM Democratic opponent because they know he is the one who has delivered time and again for the Valley.
