AMWEC Joins Hands with Congresswoman Judy Chu to Bring Joy to Needy Children

 

AMWEC joined hands with Congresswoman Judy Chu to bring joy and smiles to hundreds of needy children in the El Monte District. AMWEC delivered hundreds of toys to the Adult Center in El Monte where they were warmly greeted by the Congresswoman's staffers.

AMWEC board member, Anila Ali, Dr Yasmin Qasim, Saman Mahmood, and Sabahat Aziz, spoke to the Congresswoman and Mayor of Walnut, Mary Su, assuring them of Muslim support in all their service events. 

"Community service, giving back to our community, and helping those in need in our neighborhoods is our priority," said Anila Ali.
