Luncheon Party in Honor of Senator Gloria Negrete McLeod

A luncheon party was hosted by Zafar S. Inam in honor of Senator Gloria Negrete McLeod at Upland Kabob on January 13th, 2012. It was attended by a large number of community members including Syed Naseer Ullah, Samir Inam, Ahsan Ullah, Sajjad Khan, Shannette Oliver, Syed Inam Bacha, Kareem Ahmed, Inam Khan, Paiman Zabul, Moauwiya Nazer, and John Beshay.

Senator Gloria Negrete McLeod is running for a newly drawn 35th Congressional District in California. Elected to the Senate in 2006, Senator Gloria Negrete McLeod proudly represents the 32nd Senate District.  The 32nd District stretches over two counties and includes the cities of Colton, Fontana, Montclair, Ontario, Rialto, San Bernardino, portions of Chino, and the unincorporated communities of Bloomington and Muscoy in San Bernardino County, and the entire City of Pomona in Los Angeles County. As a State Senator, Negrete McLeod is actively involved in the cleanup of groundwater contamination.  A legislative priority is to improve the quality of California's current water supply to ensure there is a reliable plan in place that will adequately provide for the State's growing water needs.
