The mobile clinic provides primary medical care and operates out of a custom, fully equipped van that serves as an exam room for patients. The current staff includes Dr. Carla Toms, experienced street physician and assistant professor of family medicine at Loma Linda University, and two certified medical assistants.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to the numerous community leaders who attended the clinic’s inauguration last week,” said Dr. Khalid Memon, Director ICNA Relief Southern California. “The mobile clinic had a very successful first visit to the Islamic Center of Riverside this past Sunday, and we will be visiting three different mosques over the course of this month.
