NY Multicultural Business Expo

 

Great Neck, NY: Business owners and representatives looking for new ways to market their products and services will be able to participate in a unique, cosmopolitan business expo designed to stimulate the local economy while promoting awareness and appreciation of cultural diversity. The NY Multicultural Business Expo, one of the most significant business-building events in the area, will provide a rare opportunity for companies and individuals to interact with the fastest growing segment of the business population – the multicultural market. The expo will take place at Leonard’s of Great Neck, 555 Northern Boulevard on March 15th from 10am to 3pm.

While the location may be sumptuous the expo is strictly business, with vendors and sponsors of several nationalities representing companies seeking to build their customer base and increase their sphere of influence. “This is not a groundbreaking event on a national scale, but it’s a first for the Long Island/NYC area and the response has been tremendous,” says Mark Neuwirt, president of Expos Your Business, organizer of the event. EYB is partnering with Nassau County to outreach to minority owned businesses and other small to medium size businesses by providing them with relevant information and seminars on funding, multicultural marketing, social media, public speaking, minority business development, securing government contracts and others. Representatives from the US SBA, LIDC, Empire State Development, NYC Small Business Services, National Grid and the NYS Governor’s Office on Asian Affairs will be participating. IBM with partner MESA Technologies and Aflac head a list of many sponsors. Several local, regional and national media outlets have and will continue to actively promote the expo to their ethnic and English speaking communities.
