Pakistani-Canadian Student Ranks 36th out of 5.9 Million in the World


During the World Science Education Competitions organized by the UNICEF for the year 2013, in which 5.9 million students took part from all over the world, a brilliant Pakistani-Canadian student residing in Saudi Arabia grabbed the honor of ranking 36th in the world.
Hira Siddiqui, 14, daughter of Jamal Siddiqui, from Jeddah International School, Grade 9, made the hall of fame for students in the Science category for the age group 14-18. She got the honor for being at the top in Saudi Arabia, 3rd in the GCC and 36th in the world.
The event was the largest online Education Competition and made the Guinness World Records. The winners were awarded medals and special certificates of achievement by the UNICEF.
Hira Siddiqui was awarded a silver medal and special certificate of achievement by the UNICEF.
