SCMCO Holds First Joint Masjid Golf Tournament

On May 15 th, 2016 players from various mosques of Southern California got together to participate in the First Joint Masjid Golf Tournament.

The tournament was organized by the Southern California Muslim Community Organization. It was held at the Coyote Hills Golf Course, Fullerton.

The Rules and Regulation Committee comprising Javed Kardar, Adnan Naqvi and Samir Zayyad explained the rules of engagement. Samir Zayyad opened the proceedings with a warm welcome to the players and audience. SCMCO Chairperson Dawar Naqvi thanked everyone who had worked diligently to bring the community together.

The Islamic Center of Southern California (ICSC) team won the tournament. It was presented by Arshad Khan, Owais Andrabi, Pasha Nadvi and Asad Khan
