Pakistan Independence Day Celebrations in Los Angeles

On September 3 the sprawling Exposition Park in Los Angeles was the venue of the annual Pakistan Independence Day celebrations jointly sponsored by United for Pakistan Independence Day and Consulate General of Pakistan. Ambassador Jalil Abbas Jilani especially flew from Washington to be part of the celebrations and to deliver a scintillating address to the spirited crowd that had turned up to attend the joyous celebrations.
