PHC CJ retires tomorrow

PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Mian Fasihul Mulk will stand retired tomorrow (Monday) and Justice Mazhar Alam Mian Khel will be the new chief justice in his place.
A notification in this regard has been issued. As per media reports, Justice Fasihul Mulk was appointed the chief justice of the PHC on January 31, 2014, and his service tenure will expire on Monday.
New chief justice Mazhar Alam Mian Khel will take the oath of his office on Tuesday.
Justice Mazhar Alam Mian Khel hails from Dera Ismail Khan. He was made an additional judge in 2009 and judge of the PHC in 2011.
