MQM workers being killed in fake encounters: SabzwariKARACHI: Leader of the opposition in Sindh Assembly, Faisal Sabzwari said the police was staging fake-encounters of MQM workers.
During the question hour session of the Sindh Assembly, Faisal Sabzwari said law enforcement agencies were acting on their accord. The opposition leader asked who had given law enforcement agencies the authority to shoot the accused instead of presenting them in court.
Faisal Subzwari further said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers were being extra-judicially murdered and added we could not sit silent over it.
Sindh Information Minister, Sharjeel Memon on this occasion said that all the police encounters are not fake and asked for the list of such MQM workers assuring cooperation in this regard.
Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani advised both parties to sit together and sort out this matter.
