US reaffirms support to Pakistan in war on terror

WASHINGTON: The United States has strongly condemned Wednesday’s bombing on a fruit market in Islamabad. The State Department also reaffirmed the US support for the country’s efforts to counter the menace of terrorism. “We strongly condemn this indiscriminate attack on civilians. We extend our deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims of this senseless violence. We wish those who were injured a full and speedy recovery,” a spokesperson said.
