WASHINGTON: International Monetary Fund (IMF) Pakistan Mission Chief, Jeffery Franks said that Pakistani officials in times of financial crisis take loan and forget the pledges as soon as they are out of the crisis and added this practice must now end, Geo News reported.

Talking to Geo News, Jeffery Franks said that several IMF programs with Pakistan could not succeed, as when the officials face financial difficulties, they make all sorts of pledges, but sooner they get out the crisis forget to fulfill them. He said this practice must now end.
