KP announces allowance for unemployed youth

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government on Saturday announced monthly allowance for unemployed postgraduate youth in the province. The government had allocated Rs500 million for some 60,000 masters degree holders, said Mushtaq Ghani, the Minister for Higher Education. He said the government was setting up an education city in Swabi and teachers for this purpose would be recruited through the National Testing System (NTS). The minister further said the medium of instruction for students from grade one would be English.
