Bugti murder case: Musharraf ordered to appear before ATC on May 19
After getting guarantee, court cancels arrest warrants of ex-president’s guarantors

QUETTA – Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Monday ordered former president Pervez Musharraf to appear before it on the next hearing at every cost in the Akbar Bugti assassination case and adjourned the hearing till May 19.
At the inception of the hearing of the case, former Interior Affairs minister Aftab Sherpao, Shoaib Nosherwani and guarantors of Musharraf appeared before the court which expressed annoyance over non-appearance of the former president before it and reprimanded counsels and the guarantors.
The counsels for Musharraf and the guarantors gave guarantee to the court to ensure appearance of the former president before the court on the next hearing, contending Musharraf was in Karachi for his medical treatment, therefore, he cannot appear before the court.
The court cancelled the arrest warrants of guarantors of the former president besides adjourning the hearing of the case till May 19.
