SUKKUR – Opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah on Wednesday said that Pakistan must not get itself involved in the Saudi-led offensive against rebels in Yemen and the country should work for the unity of Muslims.

He expressed these views after inaugurating computerised domicile registration centre in the Deputy Commissioner Office in Sukkur. He said that the country was stuck in the Afghanistan issue for the last three decades. He urged the government to remain neutral in the prevailing situation.

The opposition leader said that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) did not become a part in the Syrian issue. He said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto was going to conduct a rally in London and that the party wants to observe Bhutto’s anniversary on international level.

Khurshid also said that the government was initiating a system within 15 days in Sukkur which would identify the people who are employed in two or more government departments. He warned the ghost employees to quit one job otherwise strict action would be taken against them.
