Bilawal Bhutto Zardari wishes happy Easter to Christians
KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has wished a very happy and blessed Easter to the Christian community in Pakistan and all over the world. In a press statement on the eve of Easter being observed today, he reiterated the commitment of his party to the promotion and protection of minorities and their right to freely observe and profess their religions and celebrate religious festivities. The PPP chairman said that his party would continue to pursue its policy of creating interfaith harmony and safeguarding the interests of minorities in Pakistan. The PPP has always been against any kind of discrimination on any basis and struggled for equal rights to all the citizens. He said that PPP leaders and workers would join their Christian brethren in the celebrations of Easter.
