Formation of JC over election rigging challenged in Supreme Cour

LAHORE – Formation of Judicial Commission (JC) to probe election rigging was challenged in Lahore registry of Supreme Court on Monday, seeking intervention to nullify the commission.
A petition was filed by Barrister Zafar Ullah in SC Lahore registry stating that several inquiry tribunals have been made as per constitution to investigate election rigging however many of them have also reserved verdicts.
He further argued that the formation of the JC is against the constitution, therefore, the court should annul the establishment of the judicial commission.
