ISLAMABAD – Minister for Climate Change Mushahid Ullah Khan Thursday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan's rally in Karachi was a flop show.

Talking to journalists at Parliament Lobby, he said that before leaving for Karachi, Imran made tall claims but all went in vein due to rift between the PTI and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) workers. The minister was of the view that it was technically possible to have a rally in Jinnah Ground but morally it was not fair adding that Imran should show at least some maturity in politics.

To a query regarding pre poll rigging in the election, he said that there might be some reservations of some political parties but it does not mean that the whole election has been rigged with a planned programme as Imran Khan propagates in the public. He said that international observers have appreciated the general elections 2013 admitting that these elections were far better than others in the history.

The Judicial Commission was already offered before the PTI and the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT)'s rally in the federal capital by the government to probe into the matter but he was not agreed upon, he added. Mushahid asked Imran to reveal the conspiracy made in Canada and Dubai against the national economy adding that he should declare the culprit behind the scene who financed the whole drama.
