JI asks Sindh govt, ECP to take notice of ‘MQM hooliganism’

PESHAWAR: Following the footsteps of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, the Jamaat-e-Islami too has announced to lodge a complaint with the Election Commission of Pakistan against what it calls rigging in election.

Speaking at Student Convention in Peshawar on Saturday, JI Amir Sirajul Haq said the party would submit evidence of rigging to the ECP.

He called on the electoral body and the Sindh government to take notice of hooliganism of MQM which he said attacked JI workers.

Mr Haq also expressed his wish to contest local bodies election in alliance with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
