Nisar gives 15-day to FIA to expel black sheep from department
Minister says FIA responsible for ending corruption, lawlessness and misappropriation

ISLAMABAD – Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has given 15 days deadline to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) director general to drive out the black sheep from the department.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, Nisar said that the FIA was responsible for ending corruption, lawlessness and misappropriation from national institutions. He warned that involvement of some the FIA officers in corruption or supporting the corruption elements will not be tolerated at all and strict action should be taken against them.

The minister said that the FIA director general should make necessary changes and take measures to expel the dishonest officers from the authority. He said that how could one expect betterment from any department regarding ending corruption which its own officials were found involved in malpractices and embezzlement.
