Rangers claim four MQM-linked criminals arrested in Karachi
KARACHI: Rangers personnel in Karachi say they have arrested four suspects involved in funding criminal activities including land-grabbing and targeted killing in the city.
Sindh Rangers acted on intelligence and arrested the four suspects in raids carried out in different parts of the city Tuesday night, a spokesman for the paramilitary said Wednesday.
Weapons and walkie-talkies were recovered from the suspects, he said.
The four men are alleged to be involved in monetarily funding target-killing, land-grabbing, 'china-cutting', and other criminal activities.
The Rangers spokesman also claimed that the suspects are affiliated with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).
