Khursheed Shah presents himself for accountability
By APPISLAMABAD: Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah on Tuesday said he presents himself for accountability in the wake of allegations levelled by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan against him.
Speaking in the upper house of the parliament, he said that being a politician he only upheld welfare of people and never used his portfolio for personal gains.
“My past and present is neat and clean, and I present myself for accountability,” he said.
Shah said he held several ministries in his political career and there was not a single case of corruption registered against him.
Khursheed Shah asked for constitution of a parliamentary committee for scrutiny of allegations levelled against him .
He said he would quit National Assembly if found guilty of any wrongdoing by the probe committee.
