PAT announces country-wide protest over Panama leaks
LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has announced country-wide protest demonstrations over Panama Papers leaks and demanded resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The PAT spokesman said the protest rallies would be taken out under “Istefa Do (Step Down)” campaign against PM Nawaz, saying that drive will continue till the Prime Minister tendered his resignation.
A social media campaign would also be launched over the corruption of Sharif family.
The party has also set up a cell comprise senior lawyers to collect evidence against corruption, the spokesman said and added that letter has been dispatched to the organizational units across the country for protest campaign.
