‘Several PPP leaders have links with Uzair Baloch’

KARACHI – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Qadir Patel confessed before the Rangers on Thursday that the several PPP leaders had been taking help from Lyari gang war leader Uzair Baloch.

According to the reports, investigators grilled Patel with several key questions, but the PPP leader could not come up with satisfactory answers. Patel was summoned by the Rangers today for interrogation into Dr Asim case.

“How do you know Uzair Baloch,” the Rangers officials asked him. Patel replied that the several PPP leaders met him in the past and sought help in different matters. He said that he had a close contact with Baloch. To a question about murder of PPP’s Khalid Shehensha, who was said to be key witness in Benazir Bhutto murder case, the PPP leader said he had no idea about the murderers.

The investigators threw volley of questions on Patel including his alleged involvement in murders, extortion, and transfer of money into his accounts.
