PML-N workers protest outside Jemima’s residence in London

LONDON: Workers of Pakistan Muslim League-N gathered outside the residence of Jemima Goldsmith here and chanted ‘Go Imran Go’ when her ex-husband Imran Khan was present inside.

The protest is being led by PML-N UK president Zubair Gul.

The protesters are of the view that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan misused the funds raised under Imran Khan Foundation (IKF) for building houses for the Pakistani people whose houses were damaged by floods.

Earlier, the protesters gathered outside the house of Jemima Goldsmith with Imran Khan present inside and they did not let him leave the place.

Later, Imran Khan’s friend Zubair Gul took him along and both of them left the place amid protesters’ slogans.

Police was called out from Jemima’s residence and soon three police vehicles appeared and parked outside the house. The cops took their positions at two exit gates of the house.

Jemima Goldsmith asked the policemen to disperse the protesters so that she and other residents could move out.

The police, however, said there will be no action against the protesters as long as they are peaceful and abstain from breaking the law.
