Change will come if PM forced to probe Panama leaks: Imran

PTI chairman claims commission earned from Metro Bus project will also be transferred to off-shore companies

LAHORE - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan restored all wings of the party on Thursday and said that change will come in real meanings if Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is forced to probe Panama leaks case and for the first time the powerful will be held accountable.

While addressing a press conference, he said that this government has taken biggest amount of loans in the history of Pakistan. He said that due to lack of equipments and facilitations many people died in Layyah, while Nawaz visits England for his medical checkup. He claimed that rather than Lahoris, Metro Train’s commission will go into the leaders’ pockets. He also said that commission earned from Metro Bus project will also be transferred to off-shore companies.

He said that corruption worth Rs 12 billion per day is taking place in this country which decreases the amount of investment due to distrust and then loans are taken to run the country. He also said that the prime minister went to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa because he is afraid to face Lahoris.

He said that Nawaz will not get answers to the questions by addressing rallies and that the latter has announced gas pipeline project for the fourth time in Mansehra. He said that the prime minister has flouted four laws, first corruption, second tax evasion third misrepresentation of facts to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and fourth money laundering.

He questioned, where did the money come from which has been transferred to Panama Companies? He said that the country is on a decisive verge and for the first time powerful is being held accountable. Rallies are arranged as ‘net practice’ before marching towards Raiwand, he said.
