Govt taking concrete steps to overcome energy shortage: Raja Farooq

ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister (PM) Raja Farooq Haider Khan has said that the government is taking concrete steps to overcome energy shortage in the state.Talking to various public delegations in Muzaffarabad on Saturday, he said that the federal government is committed to end load shedding from Pakistan including Kashmir by next year.
He said that Patrind hydro-power plant will soon start producing power, which would significantly reduce duration of load shedding in Azad Kashmir.
The PM said that local bodies’ elections will be held in Azad Kashmir after completion of census.
