Provincial government has right to remove IG Sindh: Khursheed

SUKKUR: National Assembly Opposition Leader Syed Khursheed Shah has said that that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) through its friends tried to pressurise Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) during general elections in 2013.

Talking to media on Thursday after visiting examination centre, Khursheed Shah said the Sindh government has the right to remove IG Sindh AD Khawaja.

He called for steps to stop the culture of cheating among the students during examination adding that the steps taken by the Sindh Government for curbing cheating during examinations were yielding positive results.

Khusheed said there is need of 7000 teachers in schools in the province and also called for a ban on polythene bags in the province.
