Imam-e-Ka’aba praises Punjab CM for development


LAHORE: Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh Muhammad Bin Talib Sunday called on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Model Town.

During their meeting, they exchanged words on affairs of mutual interest and promoting Pak-Saudi relations. The CM talked to the Imam-e-Kaaba and the members of his delegation in Arabic language. The CM welcomed Sheikh Saleh Muhammad Bin Talib on his arrival to Pakistan and Lahore and said the visit of Imam-e-Kaaba to Pakistan is a great blessing for the country. “Pakistan and Saudi Arabia has historical relations which are based on Islamic brotherhood. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have mutual interests and these interests are the reflection of promoting peace and this peace is our common asset. People of Pakistan consider the leadership of Saudi Arabia pious and virtuous and the leaders of Saudi Arabia are fulfilling their responsibility of looking after and protection of holy places of Muslims in an honest way. The visit of Imam-e-Kaaba to Pakistan would further strengthen ties between the two countries and enhance ties between the government and people of both the countries. The hearts of the people of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia beat in unison and we together share our joys and sorrows. The people of both the countries remain in touch in times of happiness and grief,” the CM said.

Imam-e-Kaaba has come to his second home in Pakistan and we are thankful to him for his love and affection. The government and people of Pakistan are always ready to serve for the government and people of Saudi Arabia and we standing side by side with Saudi Arabia, the CM said.

While talking to the CM, Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Saleh Muhammad Bin Talib said love and respect that he has received from Pakistan is unforgettable. The people of Pakistan have warmly welcomed us. Lahore is a historical and cultural city but when I was on my way from airport to Model Town I saw that this historical city has been developed with planning and beautification and this historical city has turned into a developed city and the credit for this goes to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. Imam-e-Kaaba thanked the CM for the love and respect that he received during his visit to Lahore and Pakistan and said that this visit would certainly strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.

“In order to face challenges today, we look towards the leadership and people of Pakistan because the leaders and people of Saudi Arabia know that the leaders and people of Pakistan are sincere and honest. The enemies of both the countries have fixed their eyes on the exemplary friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia but we will defeat all such conspiracies which are against both the countries. Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are the great victims of terrorism. The strengthening of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is the strengthening of Muslim Ummah. We have to face challenges with harmony and unity. Islam is a religion of peace. Islam is a wide religion. The government and people of Saudi Arabia have a great affection for the government and people of Saudi Arabia, he said.
