PTI should participate in process of electoral reforms: Marriyum

ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf should participate in the process of electoral reforms in a statement issued in Islamabad on Monday.She said PTI chief Imran Khan wants to pressurise the institutions adding that PTI has not been attending the sessions of parliament regularly.
Participating in a dialogue at National Press Club in Islamabad the Information Minister said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has instructed related authorites to take comprehensive measures for safety and security of journalists and media workers.
The minister said all the stakeholders should participate in the process for the preparation of the bill on protection and welfare of the journalists, Marriyum concluded that protection and welfare of journalists is a responsibility of the government.
