PM urged to talk to Rabbani about his refusal to work as chairman Senate
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari have demanded that the Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif should talk to Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani and solve the matter regarding Rabbani’s refusal to work as chairman Senate.
According to media reports, Asif Ali Zardari in his message to Chairman Senate Raza Rabbani said, “PPP stands with him and his stance was correct and they will continue to support his every principled stance unless PM himself talks to him on the matter.”
Bilawal Bhutto said PPP supports the stance of Raza Rabbani and the party stands with him.
It is pertinent to mention here that Raza Rabbani had stopped working as Senate chairman on Friday over government ministers’ continued apathy.
