LHC seeks case record on bail plea of Gullu Butt

LAHORE - A Lahore High Court division bench Tuesday sought case record from police on a bail application filed by Gullu Butt, an accused of damaging various vehicles outside Minhajul Quran International Secretariat during a police action.
The bench headed by Justice Alia Neelam was hearing the matter. Earlier, the petitioner's counsel arguing before the court submitted that a case was registered against Gullu Butt for damaging various vehicles outside Minhajul Quran International Secretariat.
He pointed out that the case was registered under sections which were all bailable but the police later added Anti Terrorism Act sections with mala fide intentions.
The bench after hearing arguments sought case record from police while adjourning the matter.
