NA passes resolution condemning Israeli attacks in Gaza

Islamabad - The National Assembly has passed a unanimous resolution strongly condemning Israeli attacks on the unarmed Palestinians.
The resolution demanded immediate truce, cessation of the siege, peaceful resolution of the issue according to the UN Charter, resumption of negotiations for viable Palestinian state.
The resolution said the people of Pakistan feel great pain and anguish over the Israeli brutalities and express solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The resolution called upon OIC to convene an emergency session to discuss the issue. It also called upon UN Security Council to take appropriate action to resolve the Palestinian issue.
