Monarchy will end on August 14: Imran

SWAT: Referring to members of the current government as a royal family, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan vowed to end monarchy in Pakistan on August 14 and establish a true democracy.

Speaking at the inauguration of a powerhouse here, Khan said his party had no other option but to take to the streets. He added that PTI workers were being arrested in Punjab and they could reply to this action in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa but would not do so.

Khan pledged to provide electricity at the rate of Rs2 per unit when in power and establish 50 stations in six months.
